Your teen sends you the link
In the app, your teen taps “Have a parent or guardian pay”. You get a text with a secure payment link. You pay by card, and it unlocks on their phone.
In the US.

Pay here on the web
Pay by card on a secure checkout page. Then you get an unlock link, also by email: open it on your teen's iPhone that has DriveDrill, or send it to them.
The unlock link works once. If it has expired, a new one is emailed to you.

Buy in the App Store
If your family uses Ask to Buy, your teen taps buy in the app and you get the request. Approve it, and the purchase unlocks on their phone.

Questions parents ask
Does it work on my teen's phone if I pay on mine?
Yes. With the text link or on the web, you can pay on your own phone or computer: the purchase unlocks on your teen's iPhone (for a web purchase, once the unlock link is opened there). With Ask to Buy, you approve the request and the purchase goes to your teen's Apple Account.
Can I cancel?
One-time purchases have nothing to cancel. To cancel a weekly plan, cancel a web one from the link in its emails, or an App Store one in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
What if my teen doesn't pass?
DriveDrill comes with the Pass Guarantee: if your teen doesn't pass the knowledge test, you get your money back. Conditions apply: see the Pass Guarantee. If you paid, either of you can claim.
Does my teen need an account?
No. There is no account to create and no sign-up in the app.
